ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Lays Bittencourt, a Brazilian illustrator living in Berlin. Over the past few years I’ve illustrated more than 20 children’s books, from picture books full of playful stories to non-fiction about animals, cultures and inspiring people.
I’ve always loved books, so turning that passion into a career feels like a dream come true. My goal is to create illustrations that feel warm, joyful and spark curiosity in readers of all ages. When I am not at my desk drawing, you will probably find me reading or spending time with my family. I am also working on writing my own stories and I cannot wait to share them soon.
